Too Much Fun

Three of my Quilter’s Escape students, Judy, Nancy and Marion, who doubled as our chauffeur and field trip mom, went to Ocean Wave Quilts in Eureka, California.  Great shop by the way.  I was directed to this fabric.  Oh my Gosh did I laugh.  I have always wanted to make an apron and after I found the perfect pattern all I needed was the perfect fabric.  Oh boy was this it!  Even my daughter and husband found it hilarious.

We ladies laughed as we mockingly pointed out our backsides in the fabric  pictures………..

Even a tattoo for those so inclined

and we also reminisced (sighed) about what they used to be………………………………………….

Every time I wear this apron (when I get it finished) I will think of that trip to Ocean Wave Quilts and laugh all over again.

The Apron pattern I am using is the “Lucy and Jane Apron” from Indygo Junction and I purchased it at the Fat Quarter Shop.

Sometimes there are fabrics ya just can’t pass up and obviously this one was definitely coming home with me.
