I have been spending some time sewing some pillows for Jenna’s new decorating scheme for her bedroom. Whenever I pull out the sewing machine for these types of projects, Jenna always has renewed interest in using the sewing machine and making her own creations. Yeah!!!!
Our Pug Daisy sleeps in Jenna’s room each night and Jenna decided she needed to sew a matching bed set for Daisy too! She had a blast coming up with things for Daisy and I have to admit it is hilariously cute. Daisy LOVES her new bed and Jenna had fun sewing it. Now we will look around and ask, “where’s Daisy?”, then find her snug as a Pug in her new bed. Too funny.

I hand stitched the monogram per Miss Jenna’s request for the monogrammed pillow idea she wanted and that took a half a day on Sunday.
Then on Monday, I got the monogrammed pillow done (those miters must be perfect ya know!) and much to my chagrin, the pillow insert was not 16″ as marked!!!! Back to the store today to try again for the right size pillow insert. grrrrrr.
Jenna wanted me to create a hand monogrammed pillow for Daisy’s new bed exactly like the one I made her. Hmmmm, maybe machine monogrammed but not by hand! I think that will be Jenna’s next sewing lesson……how to make a monogram by machine. 
Ok – Daisy is officially too cute for words!

I used to have a room (guest sewing ) in those colors . Not that style , but I just loved the look and still do ! I made all the treatments. It was so much fun .
You did an awesome job on the monogram . That is no easy task ! Did you make the bed cover ? I love it all !

The bedcover is new by Pottery Barn Teen. I am more than happy to let them do the bedding part! I like the fun part of accessorizing.
Thanks for noticing the monogram work. I was really pleased with it if I do say so myself.
